Williams, who specializes in pelvic floor therapy, will introduce participants to fundamental anatomy, healthy bowel and bladder habits, and practical and simple exercises designed to improve pelvic floor function that can be incorporated into daily routines. Attendees will learn proper technique for Kegel exercises and safe movement strategies, such as how to stand from a chair without straining the pelvic floor or causing leaks. Williams brings extensive expertise to the topic, having earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and completed her Masters of Physical Therapy degree at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Over her career, she has developed specialized knowledge in pelvic floor dysfunction and treatment. The workshop is designed for individuals of all ages and fitness levels who are interested in learning more about this often-overlooked aspect of health and wellness. Participants will gain valuable knowledge about preventive care and practical strategies for maintaining pelvic floor health.
