Ellensburg City Council Candidate Information Session

The City of Ellensburg will host an information session for anyone considering running for a City-elected office at 5:30 p.m. on April 30, 2025, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 501 N. Anderson St. In November, all City of Ellensburg voters will elect three (3) City Council representatives to serve four-year terms. The information session is free and open to all. The session will include an overview of the City's form of government and offer potential candidates an opportunity to learn about City functions and services, the role of a City Councilmember, and the City organization. The session will be presented by the Ellensburg City Manager and Senior Staff. The Kittitas County Auditor will also be present to provide information on filing and elections. A recorded version will be posted online after the session.
